Bosnia has complied with demands by soccer authorities, opening the way for its ban to be lifted from international games.

Because of a dispute fueled by ethnic rivalry, Bosnia-Herzegovina's federation was suspended April 1. Some of its members had refused to abide by an order from FIFA and UEFA to replace its three-member leadership with a single president.

After mediation by an emergency team appointed by FIFA, Bosniak, Serb and Croat delegates of the national federation approved the new statute Thursday.

The federation now hopes the national team will be allowed to play against Romania on June 3 and continue qualifying for the 2012 European Championship.
