Bolton have endured a disappointing opening few months to the season and are currently languishing in 19th position in the Premier League. Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur was an 11th reverse in 14 matches this term following on from seven losses in the final nine league fixtures of the last campaign. However, following the weekend's setback at White Hart Lane, Gartside urged Bolton fans to offer their backing to Coyle. "Let's all get behind Owen and his team," said Gartside on his Twitter account. "No vote of confidence, he doesn't need it, he's got plenty." Coyle, who has spent almost two years in charge at the Reebok Stadium, is confident of handling the pressure of the job and is adamant he is doing his best. The Bolton boss said: "I've had, from day one, a fantastic relationship with my owner and chairman. "They know what I am capable of doing and they know what the team is capable of doing. I know how football works. I know that every day I come in I do my very best. "If one day someone thinks that's not good enough, or it's not the right thing for the club, I have absolutely no problem with it. "In terms of pressure, it's football pressure, not real life. "There's people out there struggling to put food on the table for their families, so in terms of pressure in the Premier League, that comes with the territory. "But I put myself under my own personal pressure because I want to win games, because of my own self-belief. You pride yourself on doing your very best. And that's what I do."
