Boca Juniors have revealed club president Daniel Angelici has arrived in Chile to discuss a move for Juventus striker Carlos Tevez.

The Argentina international still has a year to run on his contract with the Bianconeri but has always been open about his desire to finish his career at his first professional outfit.

Tevez is currently preparing for his country's Copa America clash with Uruguay but Boca vice-president Oscar Moscariello has confirmed increased efforts to bring the forward back to Boca after the tournament.

"Angelici arrived in Chile this morning, but we haven't had an update on the situation yet," Moscariello toldTuttomercatoweb. "I don't know if he's had contact.

"Tevez is the idol of our supporters, a symbol of Boca, but also of Argentina. We'd be delighted to have him back with us.

"We've spoken with his agent - Juve are fine with Boca talking to him, but we've especially been working with his agent.

"Now we're waiting to meet Carlos to continue the negotiations."

Tevez joined Juventus from Manchester City in 2013 and has since fired the Old Lady to back-to-back Serie A titles, as well as the final of last season's Champions League.
