Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is thought to be keen to sign Ince before the window shuts at the end of this month, but after watching Blackpool maintain their 100% start to the Championship, Holloway issued a hands-off warning to the Dane.

Ince was the architect of Blackpool's victory, scoring twice as Blackpool won their opening three league games of a new season for the first time since 1991, and Holloway said: "He took his goals terrifically well and he's come on leaps and bounds for us over the past year.

"The transfer deadline doesn't bother me because he's got his dad (Paul Ince) who understands what is best for him.

"He knows that Tom needs games to develop and he's at a very good place at Blackpool to do that. I had a conversation with his dad and he wants his boy to stay here.

"When we brought him in I was asked to nurture him and to look after him and that's something I'm grateful for.

"I think the scoreline flattered us to be perfectly honest. They were as good as any side have been here for quite a while and in the first half there was nothing between us.

"They gave a good account of themselves and I think they will have a really good season. They used the ball well and gave our back four problems in the first half.

"I wasn't happy at half-time and I had a word with them at the break because the midfield got it wrong. They didn't understand when they had to press and win the ball back and we allowed them too much possession in front of us."

After an own goal from Aaron Cresswell, Ince set up Gary Taylor-Fletcher for the Tangerines second of the game before coming out in the second half to score two of his own and take Blackpool's lead to 4-0.

Craig Cathcart added another in the 62nd minute before Nouha Dicko popped up for an injury-time strike to heap further embarrassment on the travelling fans.

Ipswich manager Paul Jewell was understandably frustrated after seeing his side wave the white flag.

"It feels as bad as a 6-0 defeat can get," he said. "For the first 44 minutes we were very good and I certainly didn't see that coming at that point.

"We had as much possession as them but probably didn't do enough with it. The second goal was decisive; if you go into half-time at 1-0 then you never know what might happen.

"Even at 2-0, the third goal is decisive but we made too many basic mistakes. I can't blame them on us having a young side because mistakes were made by more senior players.

"We were caught on the counter-attack too many times. We left ourselves short in midfield and they hit us on the break time and again. It wasn't as if they had concerted amounts of possession.

"I can't take anything away from Blackpool; they were ruthless in front of goal and took their chances well.

"They've had the same group of players together for a long time now and you can tell in the way that they play."
