Blackpool set sights on Ranger

It appears that Blackpool are set to lose Campbell this summer, with QPR thought to want the forward for their return to the Premier League in the forthcoming season. Ian Holloway is consequently looking for replacements and Ranger, who has played 58 matches for Newcastle, mainly as a substitute, has become a target. A number of clubs are thought to be tracking the 20-year-old and St James' Park boss Alan Pardew is ready to sell. Blackpool are leading the race and have made an offer to their former Premier League rivals ahead of the new season.
