Black Cats boss hails Larsson

The 26-year-old Sweden international joined the Black Cats on a free transfer from Birmingham during the summer, and Bruce could not be more pleased with the impact he has had on Wearside to date and, in particular, the service he is supplying from set-pieces. He said: "Thankfully, now we are a threat from set-pieces where in the past, we haven't been. We have got some goals which have got us results, and it's a huge part of the game now. "If there was a better free transfer than Seb Larsson in the summer I am yet to see it because he can deliver. "He is as good as I have worked with - and that includes Beckham and all them. That ball he fizzes in, it's a special way he takes it, it's quite incredible. I hope that continues."
