Besiktas have completed the signing of Portugal international winger Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan.

The Turkish side have paid a reported 7.3million euros for the 26-year-old, who becomes Bernd Schuster's first signing since taking charge last week.

Quaresma spent six months on loan at Chelsea before returning to Inter last summer but made just 13 appearances in all competitions in a season that was also beset by injury.

The Portugal star has over 30 caps for his country but failed to make the World Cup squad.

Quaresma arrived at Inter in 2008 after the Serie A outfit paid Porto 18.6million euros plus Pele, who was valued at around six million.

However, the two-time Portuguese player of the year, who still had three years left to run on his contract, has had little impact at the San Siro.
