Mario Beretta has become Cesena's third coach of the season after he replaced Daniele Arrigoni on Tuesday, in Serie A's 13th coaching change of the campaign.
Arrigoni parted company with Cesena by mutual consent on Monday, a day after its 3-1 defeat at home to AC Milan. He replaced the sacked Marco Giampaolo at the beginning of November and guided Cesena to four victories in his first six games.
However, Cesena has only won one of its past 10 games and is now bottom of the table, seven points off safety.
Beretta's last job was in charge of Brescia last season. But he lasted less than two months before being sacked. Brescia was relegated at the end of the campaign.
