Jim Bentley was understandably delighted after Morecambe's 3-0 win at Bristol Rovers but was keeping his feet firmly on the ground.
Gary McDonald, Nick Fenton and Kevin Ellison all found the net within the space of 10 second-half minutes.
"Our target this season is to get to 50 points as soon as possible," Bentley said. "We have only 18 professionals and are not among the fancied teams. To come to a big club in our division, who are rightly regarded among the favourites for promotion, with a fantastic manager, and play like that was fantastic,
"We controlled periods of the first half without really threatening, but when the chances came our way in the second half we stuck them away brilliantly.
"Nick Fenton may be a centre-back, but he shows he can finish in training and I backed him when the ball dropped to him.
"We have worked hard on our defending and we knew we had to be on out mettle against the likes of Matt Harrold, who is a very dangerous player at this level."
