Former Chelsea right back Juliano Belletti agreed Wednesday to join Fluminense and was expected to sign a two-year contract with the Brazilian club after undergoing medical tests later this week.
The 34-year-old defender has been without a club after being released by English champion Chelsea in June.
He previously played for Barcelona, scoring the winning goal when the Spanish club clinched the 2006 Champions League title.
Belletti was capped 25 times by Brazil and was a member of the squad that won the 2002 World Cup.
