Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has confirmed he has agreed a deal to bring in an unnamed striker on loan this week.
Rosler has been forced to look for attacking reinforcements after summer signing Farid El Alagui was ruled out long-term with a serious knee injury.
"A player will be coming in," said Rosler.
"I do not want to give his name until the paperwork is signed. Everything is agreed but the papers are not signed."

Paul Hayes and Clayton Donaldson started in attack in the 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
But Hayes has yet to find the net since joining from Charlton over the summer while Donaldson has scored in just one of his last nine appearances.
