Bayern did play on Tuesday against Russian club FC Rostov, in which they won 5-0, but Robert Lewandowski’s four league goals and the stellar play of Thomas Muller should be more than enough to give Bayern their third straight Bundesliga win.
Ingolstadt first tough task of the season is the mighty Bayern, and Markus Kauczinski will need his players to find their scoring touch against a very tough opponent. After they finished 11th last year, which was a surprise for many Bundesliga fans, Ingolstadt looked to enter this season in hopes they can continue plying their trade in the top flight.
Lukas Hinterseer is the only player to score for his club early on, and the club may need to rely more on their defence to stop the rushing attack of Bayern.
