Bayern Munich will be without Franck Ribery and Rafinha when their Bundesliga season resumes with a trip to Wolfsburg on Friday night.

The French winger and Brazilian full-back have both been ruled out for a fortnight after picking up injuries in training on Wednesday, the Bavarian club have announced via Twitter.

Ribery has torn muscle fibres in his right thigh and misses the game at Wolfsburg and the midweek visit of Schalke, as well as the following weekend's clash at Stuttgart.

Rafinha has damaged ligaments in his left ankle and is likely to miss the same number of games.

Bayern hold an 11-point advantage over second-placed Wolfsburg, heading into the second half of the campaign.
