Arjen Robben is hopeful of making his first appearance since the World Cup in Bayern Munich's friendly against Qatari club Al-Wakrah on Saturday.
Robben hasn't played since the Netherlands' World Cup final loss to Spain because of a hamstring injury, but is back in training with the team at a camp in Qatar during Germany's winter break.
Coach Louis van Gaal said he plans to play Robben for about 30 minutes in the game. Robben also said he is keen to get some playing time ahead of the Bundesliga restart.
It's clear that Bayern is eager to have him back.

Technical director Christian Nerlinger says watching Robben in training is "mouthwatering stuff" and van Gaal has called Robben's return his biggest "signing" in the offseason.
