Baxter joined Tranmere on a month's loan on Friday and has already set his sights on remaining at Prenton Park. "Who knows, hopefully I'll get it extended if the gaffer wants to," the 19-year-old told BBC Radio Merseyside. "I'm not really match fit but the more I play the fitter I'll get. "I could have come here sooner but I was wanted at Everton. I'm made up to be here. "I've been worrying about it all week, will I score or won't I score, but to get it out of the way in the first game was brilliant. "Not scoring more myself and for us not to score more as a team was a bit disappointing because I think we deserved more from the game."
