Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito will be sidelined for four weeks with a muscle tear in his left thigh.
The centerback was injured in his team's 2-1 defeat at Real Sociedad on Saturday in the Spanish league.
The Argentine joins fellow defenders Eric Abidal, Adriano and Maxwell on the injured list for the Champions League semifinal match against Real Madrid on Tuesday. Barcelona won the first leg 2-0 at Madrid.
League leader Barcelona is eight points ahead of second-place Madrid with four rounds to go.
