Barcelona's sporting vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu is confident the club still have plenty of time to secure the signing of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. The European champions have taken their time in the transfer market this summer, with their first signing that of Alexis Sanchez from Udinese on Thursday, and others are expected to follow. At a press conference held today to formally unveil the Chile forward, Bartomeu claimed the deal for Fabregas remains in the pipeline. "They [the talks] are going in the right direction," he said. "We will try and do what we can with the money we have. "We have until August 30 to do things and I am sure we will."
