Bantams hope to keep Davies
Davies has made 11 appearances, and been sent off twice, since joining the Bantams on loan in September to play regular first-team football. He had taken in a brief stint at Crystal Palace at the start of the campaign after making just four appearances for Stoke since joining the club in 2008. The 27-year-old has had numerous loan spells in recent seasons and Bradford are waiting to see if the centre-half would be prepared to stay with the League Two strugglers. "We've got to understand where we are in the league but we will do our best (to keep him). Andrew is certainly enjoying it here," Bradford's co-chairman Mark Lawn told the Telegraph & Argus. "He is different quality but what would you expect when you've got a player on Premier League wages? "He obviously wants to play at the highest level but he is putting himself in the shop window here by playing every week."
