Mario Balotelli's agent has played down media reports suggesting
the Inter Milan striker is set to sign a new deal at the San Siro.
The Italian press claims the Serie A leaders are looking to
offer the 19-year-old, who has scored seven goals in 21 league
appearances, an improved five-year deal.
Balotelli's brother and agent Corrado Balotelli told Corriere
dello Sport: "Mario just has to focus on doing well on the pitch,
as he has been doing so far, then we will see.
"His deal ends in 2013 and it's too premature to talk about
this.
"In any case, the figures mentioned in the press are pure
fantasy."
According to the reports, the new deal on offer from Inter
would see Balotelli's wages more than double.
