Baines was preferred to Aston Villa's Stephen Warnock at left-back for the 3-1 win and Fabio Capello kept faith with the debutant full the entrire game at Wembley. Many expected Warnock to see some action and Baines was understandably delighted after admitting he did not know whether he would play at all. "It makes me feel good to get the full 90 minutes," he told Sky Sports News. "I was just hoping to play some part. I wasn't sure whether I would start or if Stevie (Warnock) would start. "And even if I would get 20 minutes at the end, so I was very happy when the manager named the team to be starting and to get the full 90 minutes too was very nice. "It's all happened quite quickly but you have got to take your chance if it comes along. "The next meet-up is not until May now and I have got to make sure I am in that. "The more time I get to spend with the (England) squad, the better it will be. You can build up relationships then. I've just got to keep playing as well as I can for Everton. "Playing 90 minutes has been a big confidence boost and I've just got to keep it going. It would be a dream if I managed to get to the World Cup."
