Baggies lining up double swoop
West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo is reportedly lining up moves for Portsmouth defender Marc Wilson and Red Bull Salzburg winger Somen Tchoyi.
The 22-year has already attracted interest from Fulham and Newcastle this summer following Pompey's relegation to the Championship.
The Irishman stated earlier this month that he was happy to stay at Fratton Park - but the cash-strapped club could be ready to part with his services.
Di Matteo has already brought in goalkeeper Boaz Myhill from Hull City and looks set to secure the services of full-back Nicky Shorey and Cameroon international Tchoyi.
Tchoyi has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time and it appears the Baggies are poised to win the race for his signature.
Fulham, Blackburn and Wolves were all thought to be tracking the left-sided winger, but West Brom have jumped to the head of the queue for his signature with Tchoyi expected to ink a three-year deal at The Hawthorns.
Red Bull Salzburg were keen to keep the 27-year-old, but with just one year left on his contract they have decided to cash in on the African.
Tchoyi is expected to arrive in England next week to tie up his move.
