The Baggies have been searching for a new goalkeeper all summer and after being rebuffed in their attempts to sign Preston's Andy Lonergan they have switched their attentions to Myhill. West Brom are believed to have agreed a fee with Hull for the former Villa keeper and they have been granted permission to open talks with the Welsh international. Myhill is set to travel to The Hawthorns on Friday to hold talks and undergo a medical before finalising his move. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is keen to bring in an experienced custodian to provide competition and cover for Scott Carson Hull have decided to cash-in on Myhill to help ease their financial problems and he is expected to end his seven-year spell at the Tigers in the next few days.
