Atleti, Barca, Real engaged in transfer battle for Sevilla star Rakitic
Ivan Rakitic has offers from Spain's top three clubs and will decide whether to leave Sevilla after the World Cup Finals, according to his father.
The Croatia midfielder, 26, who is preparing to represent his country in Brazil, is set to move in the summer and has a luxurious choice to make.
Rakitic's father, Luka, revealed that the top three sides in the Primera Liga last term have all made their interest known and must now wait for a decision.
"His brother Dejan, who is his agent, has offers from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico on the table," the player's dad told Croatian newspaper Jutarnji.
"But we will decide after the World Cup Finals.
"Nonetheless, the conditions that they have offered are not better than he has already with Sevilla.
"He is like a God there."
After making his professional debut for FC Basel in Switzerland in 2005, Rakitic joined Schalke two years later before moving to Sevilla in 2011.
