Arsene unsure over new Arsenal deal
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is giving himself "time to think" before committing to a new deal - but just wants the club to be "in good hands".
Wenger has shunned numerous offers from other clubs during his 13 years at Arsenal but has now finally hinted his stay in north London may not be everlasting.
The Frenchman has 18 months left on his current deal and is undecided whether to extend that by signing a new contract.
If he does leave, however, he will ensure the club remains in "good hands". Speaking to French TV, Wenger said signing another long-term deal at Arsenal would mean he would definitely end his career at Emirates Stadium.
"I am giving myself a bit of time to think," he said. "What is important is that the club is in good hands, whether they are mine or someone else's.
"Whether I personally leave on a positive or negative note is a little bit less important."
