Arsenal's Wenger confident of 'last minute solution' regarding transfers
Arsene Wenger says he is 'always confident of a last-minute solution' despite admitting Arsenal are not currently close to making any signings.
Wenger has added only Petr Cech to his squad this summer, but the Gunners boss is refusing to rule out some late business despite admitting nothing is close at the moment.
Asked if he was confident of making any more new signings, he said: "At the moment, I cannot say I am very confident because we are not close to signing anybody.
"But I am always confident that a last-minute situation or solution is available, because the transfer market is especially moving in the last four or five days. You have specific targets and then another becomes available because of something else.
"At the moment, I cannot promise you that. We work very hard. I am available 24 hours per day and I have a team around me who work day and night to find good solutions."
