LONDON (AP) The English Football Association has fined Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere 40,000 pounds ($62,800) for a foul-mouthed outburst toward rival club Tottenham during his team's FA Cup victory celebrations.

Wilshere took to the microphone during Arsenal's open-top bus parade in London last month and chanted a song about Spurs that contained an expletive. He was in the middle of another expletive-filled song when Arsenal broke off from the live broadcast on the club's in-house media channel.

The FA says Wilshere's conduct was ''deemed to be improper and bringing the game into disrepute.''

As well as the fine, the FA says Wilshere was ''severely warned as to his future conduct after admitting to a charge of misconduct.''
