Arsenal reserve goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club.
The 20-year-old Polish goalkeeper has played just twice for Arsenal in the League Cup but prevented the opposition from scoring in 10 of his 28 matches on loan at third-tier Brentford last season.
Wojciech made several saves in last month's 4-0 League Cup win over Newcastle and has been a regular unused substitute with Manuel Almunia out injured.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Szczesny is ''a very important part of our club's future.''
