Andrews plans Rovers stay

Andrews has failed to fully win over some of the Rovers faithful since joining from MK Dons in the summer of 2008. The Republic of Ireland international has come under fire from a section of supporters in recent games and has been linked with a move away from Rovers. A number of Championship clubs are thought to have made enquiries for Andrews, but the player's agent, Will Salthouse, insists the 30-year-old plans to stay and fight for his place in Steve Kean's side. "Keith loves the club. He has a contract for two more years at the club and he wants to stay," Salthouse told the Lancashire Telegraph. "Keith is not looking to go anywhere. "There has been interest from other clubs but Keith has not even spoken to them. "The club have said they want him to stay and I can dismiss the rumours that he will be leaving."
