Altidore set for Hull return

Amercan forward Jozy Altidore could be back in Premier League action for Hull on Saturday.

Coach Iain Dowie says the 20-year-old has recovered from a hamstring injury sustained in training that kept him out of last weekend's 3-2 defeat at last-place Portsmouth.

Altidore sat out training Tuesday only because of the intensity of the session and instead worked on his shooting with Dowie, a former Northern Ireland forward.

Dowie says "we thought he should take it easy."

Altidore is on loan from Villarreal and has one goal in 22 league matches and two goals in 24 games overall for Hull. He has yet to play for Dowie, hired last week after the Tigers fired Phil Brown.
