The Spaniard, who has started eight games for Wanderers since joining from Real Madrid last year, said on Twitter on Thursday that he has broken a metatarsal. He said: "I broke my fifth metatarsal yesterday. Having surgery soon and I will be out for about 6-8 weeks. Trying to be positive." The club have yet to confirm the injury.
