Agger: Reds belief is sky-high
The Denmark international was one of the more unhappy players under Roy Hodgson's disappointing six-month tenure at the club. He was played out of position at left-back on more than one occasion because of a lack of cover in the squad and then became injured in late September and did not feature again until January. But since Kenny Dalglish took over at the turn of the year the atmosphere within the club has been transformed and significant investment in the playing staff over the summer has boosted confidence further. "I think it's a bit of everything but obviously the coaching staff are helping," Agger told liverpoolfc.tv. "If you look at the squad now, it looks really, really strong with so many good players so I think it is good for us to have the belief to go forward and win games. "We definitely have that now and if you compare it to last season, I think we're miles apart."
