Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish says center back Daniel Agger fractured his rib in the 4-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League.

The Denmark international was substituted in the 27th minute of Sunday's match after falling heavily in the buildup to the opening goal, scored by Luka Modric.

Dalglish says ''Daniel has got a fractured rib so he's struggling a bit,'' but didn't disclose Tuesday how long the defender will be out.

Agger, who has been a regular starter for Liverpool this season, could miss upcoming league matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton and Manchester United over the next month.
