Alexandre Pato is not leaving AC Milan for Paris St Germain, according to Rossoneri vice president Adriano Galliani.

Under their ambitious new Qatari owners and sporting director Leonardo, PSG are expected to spend big in the forthcoming winter transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti is widely expected to be named as the club's new coach, replacing Antoine Kombouare, while David Beckham and Pato, 22, are among the high-profile players being linked with the club.

However, Galliani told AC Milan's website: "I haven't spoken to Leonardo or Pato and there are no negotiations to take him to PSG.

"He's definitely a Milan player and that's the truth. There are no negotiations between Milan and PSG for Pato."

Milan have been linked with a high-profile signing of their own in the shape of Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez.

Galliani added: "Someone has always come in the last few years, two years ago it was Beckham, and last year it was Cassano.

"This year I don't think there'll be anyone but you never know."
