LONDON (AP) Emmanuel Adebayor has signed for Crystal Palace until the end of the season in a bid to resurrect his career in the English Premier League.
The Togo striker has been without a club since being released from his contract at Tottenham last September.
Palace announced the short-term signing of Adebayor on Tuesday.
Adebayor will boost Palace's attacking options, with manager Alan Pardew lacking a proven goalscorer as his team stumbles after a strong start to the season. Palace is winless in its last six league games to drop to 11th place.

The 31-year-old Adebayor has played for Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham since arriving in England in 2006.
