Tottenham trailed to an early Youssouf Mulumbu header at The Hawthorns on Saturday, but two goals from Adebayor and a third from Jermain Defoe - thanks to a classy assist from the Togo international - turned the game on its head. The former Arsenal striker, who now has seven Premier League goals this season, insists he never doubted Spurs had the belief to come back and take all three points. "We all know what we can do," said Adebayor. "You could see when they scored that no-one panicked, we told ourselves to keep going, to keep the belief that we could come back and win. "It's always good to show team spirit, character and personality. This win said a lot of things. "To do it in an away game is good for us. At home we know we can do it. All I can say is congratulations to the team." It was a unique experience for Adebayor and team-mate Scott Parker against the Baggies - that was the first time either player had trailed in a game as a Spurs player. Adebayor added: "I think even if we're 1-0, 2-0 down, we could come back and win because we have the ability and belief to come back." Tottenham's victory against Albion stretches the Londoners' unbeaten record to nine wins and a draw in their last 10 League outings.
