A panel of judges in Greece has ordered seven fans of Austria's Rapid Vienna to stand trial over violence that broke out last year during a Europe League qualifier.
The seven fans - five men from Austria, one from Croatia and one from Poland - were arrested following the clashes at the Aug. 23, 2012 match between Rapid and PAOK in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki.
No trial date was set Friday.
PAOK was fined ?150,000 euros ($194,000) and ordered to play three home matches without spectators, while Rapid received a 75,000 euro ($97,000) fine and one-match punishment.
All seven fans were released from custody and allowed to leave the country. They face a maximum sentence of two years if convicted on charges of involvement in a public disturbance.
