Brazil's former World Cup-winning captain Cafu is helping organize an exhibition match in Japan to raise money for disaster relief efforts.

Brazil's 2002 players want to team up with beaten finalist Germany to face an international selection in Yokohama, which hosted their game nine years ago.

Cafu says the ''once in a lifetime'' match could bring happiness to people in Japan, following the earthquake and tsunami in March.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter says his organization will help organize the match planned for December.

Blatter says he's visiting Japan on May 23 to discuss how FIFA can help rebuild a soccer center near Sendai which was destroyed.
