Club officials from Serie A teams Atalanta and Chievo Verona will face an Italian Football Federation disciplinary panel next week following a match-fixing and betting scandal.
The federation says Tuesday that 18 clubs and 26 people were ordered by its prosecutor to come before the National Disciplinary Commission. The Serie B clubs are Ascoli, Hellas Verona and Sassuolo.
Proceedings will begin in early August, with clubs risking relegation and individuals a life ban if found guilty.
Meanwhile, a separate criminal probe in Cremona led to 16 arrests.

The investigation followed a Serie C match between Cremonese and Paganese, in which Cremonese players allegedly had their drinks spiked to prevent them from playing well.
