Young wants trade from Rangers

The Michael Young saga has taken another turn as the relationship between the Texas Rangers and the face of the franchise looks to be on the ropes.

In a conference call with the media on Monday, Rangers general manager Jon Daniels and president Nolan Ryan confirmed that Young requested a trade from the Rangers. They said that the club will attempt to accommodate his request.
