Young Brewers Tracker: May 19 edition
The Milwaukee Brewers are reshaping their franchise with an injection of youth and prospects.
Every Thursday for the rest of the season, FOX Sports Wisconsin will take a closer look at some specific young players -- as well as noting others who might be stepping up -- measuring, highlighting and evaluating their progress. Please note the glossary of advanced stats at the bottom of the story.
This is the fifth edition of the Young Brewers Tracker.

Notable: Davis' strong May continues. He now has a 3.12 ERA and 1.096 in three starts during May.

Season: 36 games, 133 PA, .239 BA, .353 OBP, .381 SLG, .734 OPS, 7 2B, 0 3B, 3 HR, 15 R, 12 RBI, 0 SB, 19 BB, 45 K, 97 OPS+, .369 BAbip, -0.6 WAR.
Notable: Back in the lineup, Santana struggled last week with no extra-base hits and eight strikeouts among his 11 outs made. On the good side, he did walk five times.

Notable: Manager Craig Counsell noted that Villar does the two things you want out of a leadoff hitter -- gets on base and steals. However, while he had a .520 on-base percentage this past week he only scored once. Perhaps that was due in part to his three caught stealings (he has six on the season).
DOWN ON THE FARM
Orlando Arcia (age 21/Triple-A)
Last week: 4 games, 22 AB, 6 H, 4 R, 1 RBI, 1 SB, 2 BB, 4 K, .273 BA.

Notable: Colorado Springs only played a handful of games due to a doubleheader being rained out, but Arcia still had a hit in all four games the Sky Sox played, raising his hitting streak to nine games. He also flashed his defense (see below). Arcia also received his 2015 minor-league Gold Glove Award.
Keon Broxton (age 25/Triple-A)

Josh Hader (age 22/Double-A)
Last week: 1 game (1 starts), 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 K, 0.00 ERA.
