Twenty minutes after an 89-85 overtime loss to Richmond in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament Xavier juniors Dante Jackson and Jamel McLean were still sullen and dejected.
The Musketeers had held a two-point lead with 15 seconds remaining in regulation with the chance to ice the game away, but a missed free throw by Jackson and a scoring barrage from Richmond junior Kevin Anderson sent the Musketeers out of Atlantic City, N.J. in the semifinals for the third consecutive year.
