The Minnesota Timberwolves officially picked up the fourth-year options on Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams on Saturday.
The Wolves also waived center Chris Johnson to get their roster down to 15 players.
Rubio was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, but played in Spain and didn't join Minnesota until the 2011-12 season. Rubio has averaged 10.7 points, 7.7 assists and 2.3 steals with the Wolves.
Williams' option was confirmed earlier in the week by FOX Sports North's Phil Ervin.
Johnson was signed to a pair of 10-day contracts in January of 2013 before being added for the rest of the season. He played in 30 games, averaging 9.5 minutes, 3.9 points and 2.0 rebounds.
However, Johnson only appeared in two games in the preseason.
Minnesota opens its season Wednesday at home against Orlando.
