Who was that guy wearing Jonny Flynn's jersey on Wednesday? It sure didn't look like the Flynn that Minnesota Timberwolves followers have grown accustomed to.

But with a career high 14 assists and only two turnovers in Minnesota's 116-105 victory over the Detroit Pistons, he looked a lot like what the Wolves hoped for when they selected him sixth overall out of Syracuse back in 2009.

Flynn chipped in a pair of steals and rebounds plus scored eight points to lead the bench brigade, as the Wolves' reserves exploded for 61 points on 56.8 percent shooting as Minnesota won for the third time in its last five road games.
