SS Gavin Lux (6-2, 170), Kenosha (Indian Trail HS), round 1, pick 20 (Los Angeles Dodgers): The 18-year-old hit .531 (43 for 81) with six home runs, 31 RBI, 23 stolen bases, 29 walks and two strikeouts in 26 games this high school season. Rated as the fourth-best shortstop in the 2016 draft and 36th overall prospect by Baseball America. Named Gatorade state player of the year in Wisconsin. Accepted a scholarship to Arizona State.

C Ben Rortvedt (5-10, 190) Verona (Verona Area HS), round 2, pick 56 (Minnesota): Ranked as the best offensive high school catcher and 52nd overall prospect in the draft by MLB.com, the 55th overall prospect in the draft by Baseball America and the second best catcher in the draft by Perfect Game. Hit .406 with five doubles and three triples and 10 RBI as a senior at Verona Area High School. Batted .437 with 10 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 29 runs batted in with a .770 slugging percentage in 2015.

OF Alex Call (5-11, 185), River Falls (Ball State), round 3, pick 86 (Chicago White Sox): Batted .358 (87 for 243) with 13 homers, 44 RBI, 67 runs scored, 29 walks and 29 strikeouts in 58 games, earning Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and Louisville Slugger first team All-American honors.

RHP Kyle Cody (6-6, 215), Chippewa Falls (Kentucky), round 6, pick 189 (Texas): Drafted by Twins in second round, but negotiations broke down over concerns about his elbow. Has fastball working at 92-95 mph with slurvy breaking ball, low-80s slider and changeup, according to mlb.com. Posted 3.35 ERA in 14 starts (83 1/3 innings) with 75 strikeouts and 30 walks in 2016. Posted 4.91 ERA in 12 starts (66 innings) in 2015, striking out 63 and walking 17.

CF Clark Eagan (6-1, 195), Appleton (Arkansas), round 9, pick 285 (Pittsburgh): Batted .298 (67 for 225) with seven home runs, 37 RBI, 22 walks and 37 strikeouts in 2016 while starting 55 games. Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. Saw playing time at center field and first and third base.

RHP Derek Heffel (6-6, 220), Racine (Madison College) round 14, pick 429 (Texas): Posted 2.73 ERA in 66 innings (11 starts) in 2016, striking out 59 and walking 26. Went 9-1 with 2.51 ERA in 2015 while striking out 64 and walking 16.

RF Taylor Kohlwey (6-3, 200) Holmen (UW-La Crosse), round 21, pick 624 (San Diego): Batted .485 (96 for 198) with nine home runs, 57 RBI, 30 walks, 14 strikeouts and 76 runs scored in 2016. He set school records for batting average, hits, runs, doubles (22) and tied the school record for triples (9) while recording a 51-game hitting streak dating back to 2015. Earned 2016 America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Gold Bat Award for NCAA Division III Player of the Year and was a three-time ABCA All-America First Team selection (2014-16). UW-La Crosse made the Division III Championship in 2016 and won school-record 39 games.

LHP Cam Roegner (6-6, 210), Beloit (Bradley), round 21, pick 651 (Milwaukee): Posted 2.56 ERA in 91 1/3 innings (14 starts) with 68 strikeouts and 12 walks in 2016 in his fourth season at Bradley.

C Matt Byars (6-1, 185), Lodi (Michigan State), round 24, pick 723 (Minnesota): Batted .284 (58 for 204) with four home runs, 26 RBI, 15 walks and 35 strikeouts in 2016, his first at Michigan State. Played two seasons at Heartland Community College in Normal, Ill., hitting .364 in 2015 and .316 in 2014.

RHP Austin Jones (6-1, 195), Madison (UW-Whitewater), round 26, pick 794 (Chicago Cubs): Posted 4.97 ERA in 12 2/3 innings (one start) in 2016, walking seven and striking out 16. Had best season as freshman in 2014, posting 2.27 ERA in 39 2/3 innings (two starts, 19 appearances) with 25 walks and 13 strikeouts, helping the school to the Division III national title.

RHP Tyler Frohwirth (6-1, 165), Waukesha (Minnesota State Mankato), round 31, pick 917 (Philadelphia): Posted 4.50 ERA in 33 relief appearances (32 innings) over three seasons, striking out 24 and walking 12. Had worst season in 2016, posting 7.36 ERA in 7 1/3 innings. Son of former major-league pitcher Todd Frohwirth.

LHP Jordan Jess (6-3, 235), Ripon (Minnesota), round 31, pick 945 (Pittsburgh): Posted 3.95 ERA in 23 relief appearances (27 1/3 innings) in 2016, walking 13, striking out 35, saving 10 games and allowing opponents to hit just .172. Played five years after sustaining injury in 2013. Was a starter for his first two seasons.

RHP Ty Weber (6-4, 220), Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls HS), round 34, pick 1008 (Cincinnati): Signed with Illinois. Led high school team to state championship last summer.

SS Justin Lavey (6-1, 200), Kenosha (Tremper HS), round 39, pick 1166: Committed to Louisville and will attend the school instead of going pro.
