Here are some notes and tidbits ahead of Saturday's game at Camp Randall Stadium between the Wisconsin Badgers and South Florida Bulls:

This is the first meeting between Wisconsin and South Florida.

The Badgers have won 31 straight home games against nonconference opponents, dating back to a 2003 loss to UNLV. Only LSU (42) owns a longer streak in the nation.

Wisconsin is 7-2 all-time against current members of the American Athletic Conference, including 6-1 at home.

Wisconsin's last 17 wins have all been by a double-digit margin. The last single-digit win was against Utah State on Sept. 15, 2012.

Wisconsin is the only team in the nation to not allow a red-zone touchdown (5 attempts, 3 FGs, 2 INTs).

Wisconsin is averaging 7.82 yards/rush which seems pretty obscene, but when you take away 2 sacks and 3 kneeldowns that average rises to 8.20 yards/rush.

Overall, South Florida averages 4.03 yards/rush. But take that with a grain of salt. Against FBS teams the Bulls are averaging just 2.66 yards/rush.

South Florida allows 3.84 yards/rush, but vs. FBS teams that average is 4.10 yards/rush and against FBS winning teams it is 4.63 yards/rush.

Tanner McEvoy enters with a passer rating of 121.44. However, against FBS teams his rating is 69.77.

A Badgers tight end hasn't had a 100-yard receiving game since Lance Kendricks did it in back-to-back weeks in 2010 vs. Arizona State on Sept. 18 and Austin Peay on Sept. 25.

Melvin Gordon needs 56 rushing yards to pass Rufus Ferguson for 12th place and 221 yards to pass Larry Emery for 11th place on UW's all-time list.

Gordon needs four rushing touchdowns to tie and five to pass Brooks Bollinger and Rufus Ferguson for 9th place on UW's all-time list.

Only one Wisconsin kicker has ever had two 50+-yard field goals in a season, Taylor Mehlhaff in 2006, although one was in a bowl game. Rafael Gaglianone had a 51-yarder in the opener.

Kenzel Doe has 1 kick return for a touchdown. Only two Wisconsin players have had 2 kick returns for TDs: Ira Matthews and Nick Davis.

Doe needs 5 kick returns to tie and 6 to pass Tom Schinke for 10th place on UW's all-time list.

Doe needs 61 kick return yards to pass Tom Schinke for 9th place, 110 yards to pass Ira Matthews for 8th place, 130 yards to pass Marvin Neal for 7th place, 136 yards to pass Ira Matthews for 6th place and 202 yards to pass Greg Johnson for 5th place on UW's all-time list.

Doe needs 2 punt returns to tie and 3 to pass Jim Miller for 10th place and 6 returns to tie and 7 to pass Keith Jackson for 9th place on UW's all-time list.

Doe needs 43 punt return yards to pass Jim Miller for 10th place, 71 yards to pass Gene Evans for 9th place, 114 yards to pass Brandon Williams for 8th place and 119 yards to pass Ira Matthews for 7th place.
