Northern Michigan dealt the Wisconsin men's hockey squad its second loss in as many nights Saturday, by a 4-2 margin.

The Badgers led, 2-1, early in the third period, following a Mark Zengerle goal. Alas, the lead would be short-lived.

Northern Michigan (2-0-0) ended the night by tallying three unanswered goals. NMU took the lead for good at the 13:25 mark of the final period, when Kory Kaunisto scored off an assist from teammate Scott Macaulay.

Wisconsin also got a goal from Frankie Simonelli, while netminder Landon Peterson was credited with 27 saves on the night. Nevertheless, the Badgers fell to 0-2-0 on the young season.
