Wisconsin bounces back to beat Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Ben Brust scored 13 points and Wisconsin ended its three-game losing streak, beating Purdue 67-62 Thursday night.

The Badgers ended a five-game losing streak at Mackey Arena and stopped Purdue's 26-game home winning streak.

Wisconsin (13-5, 2-3 Big Ten) made 5 of 6 3-pointers to start the game in building a 22-4 lead. Five Wisconsin players scored in double figures, including Jordan Taylor and Mike Bruesewitz with 12 points apiece.

Terone Johnson led Purdue (13-5, 3-2) with a career-high 16 points.

Robbie Hummel scored 13, but made just 5 of 17 shots. The Boilermakers made just 21 of 61 field goals overall.
