Winter Memories beat Dream Peace by 1-1/2 lengths Saturday in the $600,000, Grade 1 Diana Stakes for fillies and mares Saturday at Saratoga Race Course.
Ridden by Javier Castellano, the gray 4-year-old ran 1-1/8 miles on the inner turf course in 1 minute, 48.50 seconds and earned $360,000 for the Phillips Racing Partnership.
Winter Memories paid $5.50 on a $2 win bet for her eighth victory in 12 career starts as she topped $1.2 million in earnings.
''I'm very fortunate to ride this filly,'' Castellano said. ''She's very honest. She's a nice filly.''
