The starting time for the Eastern Conference showdown between the Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday, March 15 has been changed to 12:30 p.m. to accommodate a national Game of the Week telecast on NBC Sports.
The game at Pittsburgh is the second of back-to-back matinee games to kick off a four-game road trip.
Earlier, the NHL announced that the face-off for Detroit's March 8 game at Boston had been changed to 12:30 p.m. for the same reason. Both games had been scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.
