Wings, FSD to say thanks during annual 'Fan Appreciation Night'
In their final home game of the regular season Tuesday, the Red Wings and FOX Sports Detroit will honor their faithful following with their annual "Fan Appreciation Night."
Fans attending the game against Carolina, along with those following the Wings on Facebook and Twitter, and those who subscribe to the team's text alerts will be eligible to win giveaways, prizes and unique Red Wings experiences.
FOX Sports Detroit, which has exclusive rights to Tuesday's game, will issue prizes during the game through its Twitter account.
Along with giveaways throughout the night, 23 fans will be selected to take part in a post-game ceremony on the ice to receive a game-used stick directly from a Wings player. Players will sign the sticks and pose for photos with the winners.
Among the prizes: tickets, penalty box visits, Zamboni rides and a tour of the FOX Sports Detroit broadcast truck. Additional prizes include two rounds of golf and a one-night stay at Treetops Resort, a Red Wings team autographed jersey, 10 pairs of Detroit Tigers tickets, gift cards to Hockeytown and a complete 2014-15 Red Wings bobblehead set.
Several seat and row giveaways will be announced throughout the night, featuring prizes from Wings corporate partners, such as gift cards to Belle Tire, Kroger and Tim Hortons, Olympia Entertainment concert and shot tickets, movie passes for Uptown Entertainment theaters, overnight stays at the Motor City Casino Hotel, two signed Warrior items, a variety of apparel from Carhartt and Coca-Cola, year-long supplies of Better Made Potato Chips and Jack Links Beef Jerky and much more.
